Ubisoft Has Released a New Trailer for The Division 2
Ahead of The Division 2's free open beta test running this weekend, you can now preload the beta client so you'll be ready to go when it's go time. Well, you'll be ready if you can download 44.5GB by tomorrow morning. Yes, that preloading period does seem a little short for folks without mega-whizzy connections. But hey, if you want to scamper about apocalyptic Washington D.C. with your warpals in Ubisoft's online looter-shooter, hop to it. Tomorrow is the start of the weekend open beta for The Division 2. If you have any issues pertaining to wherever and how to Buy The Division 2 Phoenix Credits, you can get hold of us at our own web page. Open beta is available for PC through Ubisoft's UPlay game launcher. The 44.5GB download is ready to roll so you can start your open beta adventure as soon as servers go live on March 1st. The event will run through March 4th. PS4 and XB1 players can find the OBT client on each one's respective store.
All AAA releases have to deal with the burden of heavy expectations, but that is truer for service-style shared world games than it is for most others and so far, those expectations have caused games in the genre to stumble quite a bit. The Division 2, however, is looking to break the curse, by building on the improvements its predecessor made upon its own rough launch, while also adding on new elements and mechanics that developers Ubisoft Massive have envisioned.
The free post-launch content includes new episodes, additional narratives and missions, new PvP and PvE modes and new specializations that each include a new signature weapon and skill tree to unlock. Tidal Basin, which is coming shortly after launch, will reveal a new challenging stronghold held by the Black Tusks. Operation Dark Hours is also coming soon after launch, and will be an 8-player raid: a franchise first for The Division.
The Division 2 open beta will run on all three platforms from March 1-4. During that time, players will be able to embark on three main missions on Normal and Hard modes. Two of these, Grand Washington Hotel and Jefferson Trade Center, were previously featured during the game's private betas, while Viewpoint Museum is new for this test. The open beta runs through Ubisoft's Uplay client. Swing on over to Ubisoft's site to register the beta to your Ubi account then get downloading. As I said, the download size is 44.5GB, which is less than two hours for me but may be considerably more for others.
